After TRAUMA

Hand Injury

An abdominoplasty or tummy tuck, is a surgical procedure designed to tighten the skin and muscles of the abdomen. It involves the removal of excess skin and fat that cannot be reduced with diet and exercise alone, to create a flatter, firmer, and tighter abdominal appearance. This does come with a scar that goes from hip to hip in the pant line.

What's involved?

A hand injury needs to be carefully assessed, for example with an xray, before the damage is diagnosed and Mr Fitzgerald O'Connor can develop a treatment plan. This can comprise simple hand therapy or surgical intervention depending on the severity of the injury.

Soft tissue injuries
Hand fractures
Reattachment and amputation

Who is it for?

Anyone who has experience an injury to the hand for example

From simple lacerations to major injury of the hand.

Scarring

All surgery involves some degree of scarring but this is always kept to an absolute minimum.

In terms of how the scars will heal and fade over time, everyone is different and the appearance will depend on skin tone, elasticity and how your skin heals.
