Your Care

Central to my approach as a reconstructive plastic surgeon is creating a plan that is personalised to you. Whether you have been affected by a traumatic injury or have been on a journey of weight loss, I start by understanding your goals. Drawing on my knowledge and expertise, we discuss your options that best meet your goals with your safety in mind.

Finally the choice is yours.

Step One

Your Goals

Come to your first consultation with an idea of your main concerns, your goals and your expectations. When you book your first consultation I will send you a questionnaire to submit in advance to help me understand what you want to achieve.

Step Two

Your Options

During your first consultation we will discuss your options in line with your goals. When it comes to managing your expectations I am open, honest and realistic. I will show you photos of previous patients like you, so you can see an example of what results are possible. I will show you photos of scarring so you can see the wide range of scar appearances over time. And we will discuss in detail the reality of recovery and longer-term outcomes.

Step Three

Your Choice

After the first consultation you will receive a letter summarising our discussion and some documents to read. Take time to consider the risks and your expectations around results, scarring and recovery as well as cost. In a second consultation you can come back with further questions to continue the discussion and see if you are ready to make a choice.

Step Four

Your Care

Once you have decided on a surgical procedure, my team and I will put in place a plan for you to include the location, date, your hospital stay, your surgery day, your follow up and preparing for recovery at home with one-to-one remote support from my dedicated specialist nurse.
